Port & Galliano Poached Pears
Ingredients:
4 brown pears
2 cups of port
¼ cup of Galliano
Cinnamon
Whipped Cream (optional)
Ice Cream (optional)
Method:
- Bring port and Galliano to the boil in saucepan. Sprinkle cinnamon.
- Add pears and simmer until pears soften & change colour.
- Place pears in dessert bowl with a little syrup.
- Serve with cream or ice-cream.
