South African Chilli Bites
Serves 4 - 6
Ingredients:
1 cup Bessan (chick pea flour)
1 cup Self Raising Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 diced Onion
3 Silverbeet leaves (washed, dried & chopped finely)
1 teaspoon fresh Ginger grated
Method:
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or deep fryer then fry the dessert spoon fulls of the mixture in batches.
- Serve with mint yogurt dipping sauce (fresh mint, plain yogurt & salt) or sweet chilli sauce and garnish with fresh lemon wedges and coriander.
