Figs with Frangelico

Ingredients:Figs with Frangelico
4 good sized ripe figs
3 tablespoons frangelico
2 tablespoons of honey
60 grams of roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts
60 grams mascarpone

Method:

  1. Section the fig into quarters ensuring they are not cut all the way through – two-thirds through should do it.  
  2. Mix together all other ingredients. 
  3. Fill top of figs. 
  4. Cook in oven for about 15-20 minutes on 180c. 
  5. Serve with good quality ice-cream and added hazelnuts. 
  6. Simple and beautiful.
