Figs with Frangelico
Ingredients:
4 good sized ripe figs
3 tablespoons frangelico
2 tablespoons of honey
60 grams of roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts
60 grams mascarpone
Method:
- Section the fig into quarters ensuring they are not cut all the way through – two-thirds through should do it.
- Mix together all other ingredients.
- Fill top of figs.
- Cook in oven for about 15-20 minutes on 180c.
- Serve with good quality ice-cream and added hazelnuts.
- Simple and beautiful.
