Pear and Cheese Platter
Ingredients:
3 Brown Pears (peeled & sliced)
Handful of Sultanas
1 Vanilla Pod (split & pulp removed)
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 tablespoon Cloves
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
100g Butter
Selection of any Cheese & Crackers
Method:
- In a frypan, melt the butter with a tablespoon of oil to prevent the butter from burning.
- Add the pear, cook until softened then add brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, sultanas and vanilla.
- Continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
- Serve with a selection of cheese and crackers.
