Pear and Cheese Platter

Ingredients:Pear and Cheese Platter

3 Brown Pears (peeled & sliced)
Handful of Sultanas
1 Vanilla Pod (split & pulp removed)
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 tablespoon Cloves
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
100g Butter
Selection of any Cheese & Crackers

Method:

    1. In a frypan, melt the butter with a tablespoon of oil to prevent the butter from burning.
    2. Add the pear, cook until softened then add brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, sultanas and vanilla.
    3. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
    4. Serve with a selection of cheese and crackers.
